Council Meeting for August 2007.

Council met last night without me. I’ve finally caught the latest bug making rounds in the Valley. Nothing like a bout of summer flu/cold. If I had to miss a meeting, this is the meeting to miss. It had the smallest agenda of the year and nothing exciting or controversial. Beyond the usual “housekeeping” items, e.g., approval of last month’s meeting minutes; review of the bills list and authorizing payment of same, the council was scheduled to approve sale of two vehicles to the highest bidder, and approve the first annual “Turkey Trot”, a 5 km walk/run sponsored by the Bradford County Medical Services Alliance. The race will occur on Thanksgiving Day. I understand that there were a couple of late additions to the agenda: approval of payment and/or change orders for the Phase 1 sewer construction.
